Aurora

Aurora Aksnes Born June 15th, 1996 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase as AURORA is an Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through the label Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews from bloggers as well as the media. The singer has made two covers that have been viewed by the world's media: Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis to promote a Christmas ad from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's endorsement for her song Runaway in a blog post gave the artist some additional appreciation. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of locating an instrument in her attic and being fascinated by the sounds it would make. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music not to get the purpose of a career or as hobby but as a way to improve. The singer began to write the songs she wrote herself. Like Bjork, she cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her decision to begin performing the songs she wrote publicly after her mother suggested that it could aid people in not gain fame through the work she does, but to help the people around them understand the importance of their work and how they have an impact on the world. When she was six she began to learn on the piano. When she turned nine when she began to write songs. Family members didn't even know about it until she reached 14. It was never a dream for her to achieve Aurora. Aurora claims she loves making music. For her, music is the most effective way for expressing anything.
